No Name Storm – ” “The Storm With No Name”– October 7-9th, 2011
Strong pressure gradient between a departed cold front and high pressure along the mid Atlantic States created Deep ENE-NE flow. Heavy Rain Squalls resulted. Toward the end of the event a disturbance evolved in the NE Bahamas and moved toward East Central Florida, eventually making landfall very close to the North Side of Cocoa Beach, Fl on the evening of October 9th, 2011 minutes before midnight.
