Hurricane Irene Margaretville Flood 2011 – Reconstruction
On 8/21/11 Hurricane Irene hit New York State. It was classified as a tropical storm with heavy winds and flooding rains destroying the Catskills. Margaretville was damaged severally. The Binnekill stream combined with the East Branch of the Delaware River rose through town. Many builds where wiped out. The reconstruction has begun. What was lost will only be rebuilt stronger.

“Hotel California” Guitar Solo Cover – Live – Crazy Weather Cult
Kinda goofy I guess… just me and my grandfather playing the guitar solo section of Hotel California by the Eagles… My grandfather had never heard the song before so I showed him the chord progression and told him to make it his own…so it really wasn’t meant to be note for note perfect. It was just something to make people look up and say, “wait, what are they playing” …like I said, kinda goofy, but really fun…. I did change up the twin guitar ending to try and make it easier to play on a single guitar…not a great arrangement, but I think it worked for that night. This is from a low quality video tape recording…the audio is out of sync at times with the video. This is due to the trouble I had with the video capture software on my computer….the results are hit and miss… The

I caputured this footage in real time during hurricane “Irene” while driving in my car. I used a tripod and placed in on the passenger seat. The location is Suffolk County Long Island New York. This includes towns Deer Park and N. Babylon areas.
